No need for measurements. We are moving to a time based quoting system. Since the beginning of the year we have compared at least 70 price quotes, where half were prepared based on square footage pricing and the other half based on a time based pricing.

Based on our pricing structures, 64 of those quotes were different by a factor of $100 to $200 and the other 7 were different by a factor of about $500. Given this information, whenever a quote exceeds the $200 margin, we send the customer the lower price quote.

We believe we can do remote estimates and provide quotes that are not far off from our square footage based quotes that we love so much.
